A personalized mermaid book with a tail in their favorite color

A glowing seashell, one big splash, and suddenly your child has a shimmering mermaid tail. With Tumble the sea turtle as their guide, they dive into Coral Cove to help Bubbles, a lost baby whale, find her mama: through the swaying kelp, the glowing jellyfish garden and an old sunken ship.

Pick their favorite color and their tail shimmers in it on every underwater page. Add their name and one photo, or design their look, and they star in all 14 illustrations of this 32-page picture book.

Zoe's Mermaid Adventure: a few pages

Sample illustration
When Zoe opened her eyes, Zoe was underwater, breathing as easily as on land. And where her legs used to be, there was a shimmering turquoise tail! Zoe gave it a wiggle. Whoosh! Zoe zoomed forward.

Next came the Jellyfish Garden, glowing like a hundred floating lanterns. “Don’t touch,” whispered Tumble, “just float.” So they floated, very carefully, through the soft, glowing lights.

From far away came an answer. HOOO-OOO-OOO! A huge, gentle whale swam out of the blue. “Mama!” cried Bubbles. They nuzzled and twirled and nuzzled again. “Thank you,” Mama whale said to Zoe. “You have the bravest, kindest heart in the sea.”

Questions

Can a boy be the mermaid?

Of course. The story works for any child: you choose he, she or they, and the text never assumes. Every child gets the same shimmering tail.

Can I choose the tail color?

Yes. Pick their favorite color when you make the book and the tail and swim shirt are painted in it. If you skip it, the tail is turquoise.
