A personalized sports book for the sport your child loves

Pick their sport: soccer, basketball, baseball or T-ball, flag football, or hockey. On the morning of the big game your child pulls on their gear with butterflies in their tummy, joins a team of animal friends, and hears Pepper the squirrel mascot cheering from the sidelines.

When a shy teammate is too nervous to play, your child learns that the best moment of the game isn’t scoring alone but helping a friend shine. The words and pictures match the sport you choose, and your child stars in all 14 illustrations of this 32-page picture book.

Inside the book

Jamal and the Big Game: a few pages

Sample illustration
At the soccer field, the whole team was waiting: Moose, Tippy, and Juno the little hedgehog. And bouncing on the sidelines was Pepper, the team’s squirrel mascot, waving two blue pom-poms. “Go, team, go!”
Sample illustration
Back in the game, Jamal kept his eyes open. Where was Moose? Where was Tippy? Where was Juno? They called to each other, shared the soccer ball, and played like one big happy machine.
Sample illustration
Near the end of the game, Jamal saw it: Juno, all alone in the perfect spot. Jamal could have tried to be the hero. Instead, Jamal passed the soccer ball to Juno, who kicked it right into the net. Juno’s spines stood straight up with surprise and joy!

Questions

Which sports can I choose?

Soccer, basketball, baseball (also great for T-ball and softball), flag football, and hockey. You pick the sport when you make the book, and the story and pictures change to match.

Is it about winning?

It’s about trying, teamwork and kindness. The big moment is your child setting up a nervous teammate, and nobody quite remembers the final score.
